Hell is not a cozy little fireplace. In a number of places, the Bible describes hell as a place of torment and a lake of fire. Hell is not here on earth, nor can it be duplicated by anything here on earth. A chemist, who has watched sulfur ( brimstone ) burn, has a little idea as to what hell is like. No matter how bad your circumstances are, you haven't begun to experience anything, like the torments of hell! People, who say that hell is here on earth, don't understand what hell is really like. No human being would want any other human being to suffer the torments of hell, no matter how bad that person was!
As indicated on another page of this website, we are each a spirit, living in a body, thus, we are complete living beings ( souls ). When we die, our spirit leaves our body and takes on a spiritual body. ( Luke 16:23-24 and I Corinthians 15:42-50 ) Our spiritual bodies are in many ways like our natural bodies. They have all the senses, including the capacity to feel pain. The pain of this earth is temporary. According to the Bible, the pain of hell is for at least 1007 years.
A few years ago, a christian lady named Mary K. Baxter wrote a book called," A Divine Revelation of Hell". She claims to have received this revelation from Jesus. On the surface, it appears to be consistent with the Bible, yet it goes far beyond the biblical descriptions of hell. Even if the book is not totally accurate, it is guaranteed to give you a serious attitude toward hell.
Please, friends, take this seriously. It would not be worth a minute in hell to experience a thousand years of the best pleasures that this earth has to offer! Jesus wasn't asking you to literally cut off, or cut out, body parts in Mark 9:43-48. He is quoting the prophet Isaiah, and is trying to make us realize that hell is the worst thing that we can imagine. We can help you avoid this awful place, and we won't charge you a cent.

We are the Mexico Beach Christian Worship Center. Our Sunday morning services are being held at the Mexico Beach Civic Center. In accordance with federal laws, we have permission to use this beautiful, heated and air conditioned, facility on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM central time. The Mexico Beach Civic Center is at 105 N. 31st Street. It is the white building with the dark green roof, which is just behind that new Mexico Beach restaurant, Mango Marley's. It is behind Parker Realty, and is on the northeast side of Rte 98. It is about 7/10 mile south of the Mexico Beach Welcome Center.
