If you haven't been born again, ( born of God ) as Jesus said, this is your future! You will be going there ! You don't have to. Read this whole page!Hell is not a cozy little fireplace. In a number of places, the Bible describes hell as a place of torment and a lake of fire. Sometimes we think that life on earth is a living hell, but it isn't even close to the real thing. A chemist, who has watched sulfur ( brimstone ) burn, has a little idea as to what hell is like. Before sulfur burns, it melts and turns into a sticky substance, that clings to anything it touches. The temperature is only slightly higher than that of boiling water, so the destruction it causes, happens very slowly. No matter how bad your circumstances are, you haven't begun to experience anything, like the torments of hell! NO HUMAN BEING WOULD WANT ANY OTHER HUMAN BIENG TO SUFFER THE TORMENTS OF HELL, NO MATTER HOW BAD THAT PERSON WAS!
As indicated on another page of this website, we are each a spirit, living in a body, thus, we are complete living beings ( souls ). When we die, our spirit leaves our body and takes on a spiritual body. ( Luke 16:23-24 and I Corinthians 15:42-50 ) Our spiritual bodies are in many ways like our natural bodies. They have all the senses, including the ability to feel pain. The pain of this earth is temporary. According to the Bible, the pain of hell is for at least 1007 years. Some say it is forever.
A few years ago, a Christian lady named Mary K. Baxter wrote a book called," A Divine Revelation of Hell". She claimed that she received this revelation from Jesus Christ. On the surface, it appears to be in agreement with the Bible, yet it goes far beyond the biblical descriptions of hell. Even if the book is not totally accurate, it is guaranteed to give you a serious attitude toward hell.
Also, some time ago, another person had an experience where for 23 minutes, he was shown what hell is like. Bill Wiese was a real estate agent. He was a professing Christian, but not too religious. After his experience in hell, he felt compelled to share his experience with people all over the world. Many of the things which he described, are similar to those described by Mary K. Baxter in her book.
Please, friends, take this seriously. IT WOULD NOT BE WORTH A MINUTE IN HELL, TO EXPERIENCE A THOUSANDS YEARS OF THE BEST PLEASURE THAT THIS EARTH HAS TO OFFER! Jesus wasn't asking you to cut off, or cut out, body parts in Mark 9:43-48. He is quoting the prophet Isaiah, and is trying to make us realize that hell is the worst thing that we can imagine. We can help you avoid this awful place, and we won't charge you a cent.
The only way that you can escape hell is to experience what Jesus called being born again, or as the literal Greek says, " born from above ". Our church is called the Mexico Beach Christian Worship Center. Our Sunday AM services are being held at the Mexico Beach Civic Center. In accordance with federal laws, we have permission to use this heated, and air conditioned, facility on Sunday mornings a little before 10:00 AM central time. We begin with a short time of greeting and fellowship, and then TJ leads us in worship. After the service we have holy communion, a time when people can request prayer, especially for healing, and sometimes, a pot luck luncheon.The Mexico Beach Civic Center is located at 105 N. 31st Street. It is the white building with the dark green roof, which is just behind that new Mexico Beach restaurant, Mango Marley's. It is behind Parker Realty, and is on the northeast side of Rte 98.
