On the left is an unusual starfish found on Mexico Beach. On the right is TJ, our worship leader. He usually starts our worship service off by leading us in a few worship songs and choruses. When you enter the room, you may feel something different. That something is the presence of the Holy Spirit. When TJ leads the singing, and plays the electric guitar, it is more than music. It is worship.

Mexico Beach Christian Worship Center - Statement Of FaithVirtually all Christian churches claim to believe the Bible, and some claim that the Bible is without error. The problem with this thinking is that the Bible, that they are talking about, is not the Bible, but an English translation of the Bible. It was translated into English by people, without computers, and with far less information and resources than what we have today.
We preach what Jesus preached. We preach that a man ( person ) MUST be born again from above, to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. ( John 3:7 ) We don't pick and choose verses out of context that appear to teach something different than what Jesus taught. We believe that the original writings, in the original languages, are without error, and we consult those writings when deciding important matters of doctrine.

Preaching the Kingdom! There is no request for money, or donations, on this site. That should tell you something! MBCWC is more than just a church. It is a worship center, where people can come and worship God as they never have before. Some prefer to worship standing. Some are more comfortable seated. Some prefer to kneel. Some like to raise their hands. Some like to sing, and pray quietly in the Spirit. And on rare occasions, some may feel compelled to fall prostrate before their God. This is a place where you can experience worship in the way that God places on your heart.
Our beliefs are similar to that of most churches that preach a born-again Spirit filled message. When a person appears to be truly born-again, and requests baptism, we will baptize them, by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are a full gospel ministry. In addition to water baptism, we believe, and teach, the baptism with the Holy Spirit, as foretold by John the Baptist, and as foretold by Jesus Christ, our Savior and Messiah. We believe that the promise of Acts 2:38-39 is indeed "to as many as the Lord our God will call".
We reject the false teaching that the gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased in the first century AD. For more info on this, click on the " Have You Been Baptized With The Holy Spirit " link below.
Our Sunday AM services are being held at the Mexico Beach Civic Center. In accordance with federal laws, we have permission to use this heated, and air conditioned, facility on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM central time. We begin with a short time of greeting and fellowship, and then TJ leads us in worship. After the service we have holy communion, and a time when people can request prayer, especially for healing, and sometimes, a pot luck luncheon.
The Mexico Beach Civic Center is located at 105 N. 31st Street. It is the white building with the dark green roof, which is just behind that new Mexico Beach restaurant, Mango Marley's. It is behind Parker Realty, and is on the northeast side of Rte 98. It is about 7/10 mile south of the Mexico Beach Welcome Center.
